Logging In

eGrants is a secure site and requires each user to have a user name and password to log into the system. If you do not have a user name and password, you will need to create an account to log into eGrants.

 

To log in:
  1. Open the eGrants Login page.

  2. Type in the User Name field the user name you assigned yourself when you created your eGrants account, if it did not automatically appear when you opened the page.

  3. Type your password in the Password field, if it did not automatically appear when you opened the page. It will appear as a series of asterisks.

Note:  If you enter an incorrect User Name or Password three times in a row, your account will be locked for one hour. (You can request assistance from the help desk to unlock your account more quickly.)

  1. (Optional) Click in the Remember Me checkbox to have the system remember and pre-fill the User Name and Password fields each time you visit the site. Keep in mind, however, that this means that anyone who uses your computer can log in as you. Each user must have an individual User Name and Password.

Note:  Your browser may also display a popup message asking if you'd like it to remember your user name and password. If you click Yes, your log in information will be saved by your computer until you clear its cache of remembered internet form data.

  1. Click Login to eGrants. You are logged into the system, and the Home page appears.

If you forget your password, eGrants can mail you information for resetting the password to the email address you provided when you created your account. After resetting your password you will be able to log back into eGrants. If you attempt to log into the system three times in a single session without providing the correct password, your account will be locked, and you must contact the help desk to have it reinstated.
