Login Page

The Login page features the User Name and Password fields that are used to log into eGrants, as well as several secondary controls.

Note: If you attempt to log into the system three times in a single session without providing the correct password, your account will be locked, and you must contact the help desk to have it reinstated.

Open your browser (such as Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge).
Type https://egrants.cns.gov/espan/main/login.jsp in the browser's address bar. The Corporation for National and Community Service eGrants Server page opens.
Carefully read the security notice.
If you agree with the rules contained within the security notice, click the eGrants Phase 2 button. The eGrants Login page opens.

User Name and Password fields

Enter the user name and password you created for your account. They must be entered exactly as you created them (they are case sensitive). If you have forgotten either your User Name and Password, click on the link Forgot your password? Get help. An asterisk will appear in the Password field for each character you type.

Remember Me checkbox

Click in this checkbox to prompt the system to remember your password so that you don't have to type it each time you log in. Keep in mind, however, that this permits anyone who has access to your computer to log into eGrants as you. Once the Remember Me option is selected, it is not possible to de-select it. You should click into the Remember Me field only if you are absolutely confident of your ability to keep your computer secure.

Click this link to log into eGrants, displaying the Home page, once you have correctly entered your User Name and Password.

Forgot your password? Get help link

Click this link if you forget either your User Name or Password. Once you've correctly answered the security question you set when you created your account, you'll be sent an email that contains your eGrants User Name and Password.

Click here to disable the pictures checkbox

Click this checkbox to prevent eGrants from displaying photos in the upper right corner of most pages. Disabling pictures can contribute to faster page loading if you are using a slow internet connection.
