Login Information Page

You can create, view, or update your account information—including your password, password Q&A, and email address—on this page.

Every field on this page, with the exception of Prefix, Middle Name, and Suffix is required. Information must be entered in each field in order for the page to be saved. If you fail to enter valid information in a required field, a popup error message is displayed when you click Next

The Prefix, First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, and Suffix fields displayed on this page for users who do not yet have an account are shown instead on the My Account | Updated My Profile | view All page.”

If you enter or change a password, you must also re-enter that same password, in exactly the same way, in the Retype New Password field. This ensures that you don't accidentally mistype your intended password, and as a result end up locked-out of the system. Similarly, you must retype your Email address to ensure that the system and its administrators can contact you to provide assistance if need ed .

Providing a Password Question and Password Answer and an up-to-date Email address permits the system to email you your password if you forget it.

Open the eGrants Login page. If you are logged into the system, you'll have to log out in order to access this page.
Click Don't have an eGrants account? Create an account. The Create an eGrants Account page opens.
Click Create a grantee account. The Become a Grant Applicant page opens.
Click This is my first time. I want to create a new account with eGrants. The Become a Grant Applicant | Login Information page opens.

Open the My Account page.
Click view All, located in the Update My Login Info... menu. The My Account | Login Information page opens.

Open the eGrants Login page. If you are logged into the system, you'll have to log out in order to access this page.
Click Don't have an eGrants account? Create an account. The Create an eGrants Account page opens.
Click Become a Peer Reviewer. The Become a Peer Reviewer page opens.
Click Become a Peer Reviewer (again). The Become a Peer Reviewer | Login Information page opens.

Enter your First Name and Last Name as they appear on your government-issued identification.
Enter your Prefix, Middle Name (or Initial), and Suffix only if any of them appear on your government-issued identification.
Enter your User Name.
Enter a new password of eight or more characters in the New Password field to create a secure, yet memorable password. An asterisk will appear in the field for each character you type.
Retype the same new password in the Retype New Password field. A warning will display if your passwords do not match. If so, retype them so that they match.
Using the dropdown menu, specify the Password Question you wish to have sent to you if you forget your password. If, when logging in, you indicate that you have forgotten your password, an email will be sent to you that asks your password question. You must provide the same answer you entered on this page, and your password will be sent to you.
Enter your Password Answer.
Enter your Email Address. If you forget your password, this is the address to which the system will send you your password question.
Retype your email address.

Click next. Your login information is saved, and the Personal Profile page opens.
