Technical Assistance

TASC

Technical Assistance to State Commissions. The TASC project is funded by the Corporation to assist state commissions achieve their goals through providing or arranging for needed technical assistance for them.

Type I third term member

A member who served less than 15% of their hours in their first or second term. These members are eligible to serve a third term and receive an ed award. Any term of less than 15% does not count as a term, unless the member was released for reasons of misconduct. A member could serve multiple terms of less than 15%.

Type II third term member

Members who have served two terms in which they completed 15% or more of their total hours. They may serve an additional term in a national service Program (NCCC and Promise Fellows count for this) but cannot receive an education award for that term.
