Editing a Financial Status Report (FSR)

Editing an FSR:
  1. Open the Financial Status Report page.

  2. Click on one of the listed grants to view all FSRs associated with it.

  3. Click the edit an FSR link located to the right of an FSR record to open it. The FSR General Information page opens.

  4. Using the dropdown list, indicate whether the FSR's Basis is Accrual or Cash.

  5. (Optional) Enter your Recipient Access/Identifying # in the appropriate field.

  6. (Optional) Click in the Final FSR field if this is the last FSR to be created for this grant.

  7. Click save. The FSR's general information is saved.

  8. Open the FSR Transaction page. Transaction information for this project is displayed.

  9. (Optional) Enter both Previously Reported and This Period's Supporting and Operating Costs in the Recipient Shares section. (Once you click Save, the Cumulative and Share figures displayed to the right of these fields will show the amount spent so far and the percentage that was paid by the recipient. The Total Outlays section, displayed below the Federal Share section, is also updated.)

  10. (Optional) Enter both Previously Reported and This Period's Volunteer / Member Costs in the Recipient Shares section. (Once you click Save, the Cumulative and Share figures displayed to the right of these fields will show the amount spent so far and the percentage that was paid by the recipient. The Total Outlays section, displayed below the Federal Share section, is also updated.)

Note:   Grants that do not include a volunteer component will not offer the option described above.

  1. (Optional) Repeat steps 9 and 10 (above) in the Federal Share section. (Once you click Save, the Cumulative and Share figures displayed to the right of these fields will show the amount spent so far and the percentage that was directed to the recipient. The Total Outlays and Federal Share Balance sections, displayed below the Federal Share section, are also updated.)

  2. (Optional) Using the dropdown list in the Indirect Expense section, select a Type of Rate.

  3. (Optional) Enter a Rate percentage that corresponds to the Type of Rate.

  4. (Optional) Enter a Base amount.

  5. (Optional) Enter a Total Amount.

  6. (Optional) Enter the Federal Share amount.

  7. Click save. The transaction amounts and figures are recalculated and saved.
