Authorizing and Submitting an FSR

Once you have clicked Submit, the system checks to see that all requirements have been met. If any requirements have not been met, a report is displayed in a popup to describe the problem or problems. You can then correct the issues and resubmit the FSR .

Note:  Once you have clicked an I Agree button and submitted the application, you cannot revoke your agreement.

Note:  The certification must be formally agreed to by an appropriate user from your organization before the FSR can successfully be submitted.

 

To authorize an FSR:
  1. Open the FSR Certification/Submit page.

  1. Read the certifications statement. If you are agree with the statement (and are an appropriate user to authorize this FSR) click in the I Agree radio button. The page refreshes to display your phone number and the date on which you authorized the FSR.

  2. (Optional) Enter any comments or explanations you feel would be appropriate to have reviewed by the CNCS when the FSR is submitted, or that are required by the Federal sponsoring agency.

  3. Click Submit this FSR. The concept paper is submitted to CNCS . If there are any problems that would prevent the FSR from being accepted, an Application Errors List secondary page opens, describing the problems.

  4. Read the application errors list.

  5. Correct any problems with the FSR listed in the applications errors list. All errors must be addressed prior to submission.

  6. Click Close to close the application errors list.

  7. Click Submit this FSR again. The concept paper is resubmitted to CNCS.

  8. A message will appear above the Authorize and Submit header to indicate whether the FSR was accepted by the CNCS.
