Enter EIN# Page

1. The Enter EIN Employer Identification Number. The EIN is a nine-digit number that the IRS assigns to employers, sole proprietors, corporations, partnerships, non-profit organizations, trusts and estates, government agencies, certain individuals and other business entities. # page can be accessed only by clicking the add a new [sub application] link on the Sub Applications page. A popup message appears that reads You are now leaving the Prime Application screens and entering the Operating Site For AmeriCorps state, a subdivision of a Program; For EAPs, National Directs, Tribes and NCCC, the subgrantee level Application screens. Click on OK to continue.

(If you are editing or viewing an existing sub application, you will find the information originally entered on the EIN# page in the top section of the Organization Information page.)

2. Click the OK button on the popup window. The popup window closes and the Enter EIN# page appears.

 

1. Type the Operating site's name, and/or the operating site's EIN#.

Note:  Once you have entered and confirmed (on the Select an Organization page) an Operating Site's Name or EIN, you cannot change it except by deleting the sub application.

2. Click next. The Select an Organization page opens.
