The Select an Organization page will take one of two forms, depending upon whether the Employer Identification Number (EIN ) you entered on the Enter EIN# page is recognized by the eGrants system.
If the EIN you entered has never been submitted to eGrants, the page will display the following message:
Click Next to open the Organization Information page, on which you can enter the UEI # and other information about your organization.
Click Back to return to the Enter EIN # page if you thought you were entering an EIN that was already entered in the system, and wish to re-enter the EIN to find an existing organization.
If the EIN you entered has been submitted to eGrants on at least one occasion before, you'll be asked to indicate whether you are part of an organization with which the EIN was previously associated, or with another organization.
The Select an Organization page can be accessed only from the Enter EIN# page. When creating a new profile, open the Enter EIN# page, enter the required information, and click Next. The Select an Organization page appears.
