Your eGrants account will be identified by the User Name you select. This will be a name or other word, or a code, of your own choosing that you will enter (along with your password) each time you log into eGrants.
Enter a user name for your eGrants account in the User Name field. You might prefer to just use your first initial and last name, such as jsmith. To make it harder for others to guess your user name, you may wish to modify your User Name with the addition of one or more numerals, such as jsmith4. User Names cannot include spaces or characters other than letters or numbers.
User Names must be unique. If another user has already selected the same User Name that you have entered here, an error message will appear asking you to make another selection.
The User Name field is a "required" field. Information must be entered in the field in order for the page to be saved. If you fail to enter valid information in a required field, a popup error message is displayed when you click Next.
