Entering or editing information about areas affected by the project
Select a record and open the Application Info page.
Type city, county or state names in the Areas affected by the project An activity, or set of activities, carried out though a program that receives assistance under the Act, and which results in a specific identifiable service or improvement that otherwise would not be done with existing funds, and that does not duplicate the routine services or functions of the employer to whom participants are assigned. field The text box can contain up to 1,000 characters.
Click Save at the bottom of the Application Info page. Project information is updated.
Entering or editing project start and end dates
Select a record and open the Application Info page.
Click the dropdown arrow next to the date you want to edit. A list containing all dates from which you can choose extends as a dropdown menu from the field.
Move the mouse pointer up or down within the list until the date you wish to select is highlighted. Click on the highlighted date. The dropdown menu will close and the date you selected is displayed.
Click Save at the bottom of the Application Info page. Project information is updated.
Indicating whether the application is subject to review
Select a record and open the Application Info page.
Using the radio buttons, indicate whether the application is subject to review by the State Executive Order 12372 process.
To make a different selection, click the other radio button.
Note: Once you have indicated whether an application is subject to review, you can change your answer, but you cannot update the field so that the question is unanswered.
If you answered yes, enter the date of the review using the next three fields. To do so, click on the appropriate date field's down arrow. A list containing all dates from which you can choose extends as a dropdown menu from the field.
Note: The date fields are accessible only if the proceeding question was answered Yes. If any information appears in the date fields and the answer of the proceeding question is changed to no, that information will be deleted upon saving.
Move the mouse pointer up or down within the list until the date you wish to select is highlighted. Click on the highlighted date. The dropdown menu will close and the date you selected is displayed.
Click Save at the bottom of the Application Info page. Project information is updated.
Indicating whether the applicant is delinquent on any federal debt
Select a record and open the Application Info page.
Using the radio buttons, indicate whether the applicant is delinquent on any federal debt.
To make a different selection, click the other radio button.
Note: Once you have indicated whether an applicant is delinquent on any federal debt, you can change your answer, but you cannot update the field so that the question is unanswered.
If you answered yes, type an explanation (of up to 240 characters) in the If yes, please explain field.
Note: The If yes... field is accessible only if the preceding question was answered Yes. If you’ve entered text in the If yes…field, and then change the preceding answer to No, the text in the If yes… field will be deleted when you save.
Click Save at the bottom of the Application Info page. The applicant is updated.
Entering or editing "Other" information (Concept Paper only)
Select a record and open the Application Info page.
(Optional) If you are a former grantee An organization that has been awarded a grant /sponsor, enter the number of years in the if yes, for how many years? field.
(Optional) List the number of people that participated in the previous grant in the How many members Participants in AmeriCorps (including AmeriCorps NCCC,AmeriCorps VISTA, and AmeriCorps State and National programs) are referred to as members - not volunteers. did you have? field.
(Optional) Provide an explanation of any other CNCS Corporation for National and Community Service. The independent federal agency that encompasses the work and staff of two previously existing agencies, the Commission on National and Community Service and ACTION. The Corporation was created by the National and Community Service Trust Act of 1993. resources your organization has, if any, in the If yes, please explain field.
List the number of participants you currently have in the How many members do you have? field.
Click Save at the bottom of the Application Info page. Project information is updated.
Click Next or the Narratives link, located in the Start New menu, to go to the next section.
