Education/Job History Page

On this page, you can create, view, or update information about the highest level of education you obtained, and details — including each experience's start and end date, college or employer name, organization type, and descriptions — about your education and job history.

Note: You must select your highest level of education and enter information about at least one job or educational experience before proceeding to the next page. CNCS staff use this information to determine eligibility to be a peer reviewer, so be as comprehensive as possible.

Note: Your web browser's popup blocker must be turned off in order for you to edit or view Education and Job History information you need to enter as part of the process for becoming a peer reviewer.

Note: Click Save and close after you have completed editing information in a popup window. This will save the information you have entered and close the popup. If you close the window without clicking Save and close, the information will not be saved.

The Education/Job History page can be accessed only from the Availability page. When creating a new peer review profile, open that page, enter the required information, and click Next. The Education/Job History page appears.

Using the radio button, indicate the highest level of education you have obtained. CNCS staff use this information to determine eligibility to be a peer reviewer, so be as comprehensive as possible. If none of the choices are accurate for your situation, select None of the Above.

To make a different selection, click in a different radio button.

Click Add a New to enter information about each job you have had or area of study you have pursued. The Education/Job History secondary window opens.
Using the dropdown menus, enter the date you started and ended the educational experience or job.

Note: The Start Date must precede the End Date.

(Optional) Enter in the College/Employer field the name of the school or employer associated with this experience.
(Optional) Using the dropdown menu, select the Organization Type that best describes the work or educational setting associated with this experience.
Enter in the Area(s) of study/Degree/Job Description field a description of the experience.

Note: The Area(s) of study/Degree/Job Description text box (on the Education/Job History secondary window) does not accept formatting (such as bold, italics, or bulleting), and has a 4,000 character limit.

Click save & close. Your education/job history is updated. The secondary window closes.
Repeat steps 2-7 (above) as required to enter your complete relevant education and work history.

Click the view/edit link located to the right of the record you wish to view or edit. A secondary window opens that contains details about the subrecord you selected.
Make changes as required.

Note: The Start Date must precede the End Date.

Click save & close. Your education/job history is updated. The secondary window closes.
Repeat steps 1-3 (above) as required to update your complete relevant education and work history.
