Creating a Continuation

If you are starting the second or third year of your grant , or if you are a Senior Corps grantee and beginning the first year of a three-year grant , you may create either a continuation or a renewal.

 

Creating a Continuation:
  1. Open the Home page.

  2. Click Continuation/Renewal, located in the Creating an Application menu. The Existing Applications page opens.

If you have no applications that can be continued, a message will be displayed that reads No applications are in a continuable state at this time.

If you have one or more applications that can be continued, a list of your grants that are eligible for continuation display.

  1. Select the grant you wish to have continued. The grant you select is copied to serve as a basis for your continuation application.

  2. Edit your continuation application as required.

The continuation request includes each of the following components:

  1. SF424 Facesheet

  2. Narrative

  3. Performance Measurements

  4. Budget

The grant's NOFA may also have to be updated with the continuation.

  1. Click SUBMIT. The application is submitted and included in your aggregate application package.
