Changing NOFAs

While you are permitted to change an application's NOFA , doing so will delete the application. Therefore, NOFAs should be changed only as a last resort, and after you have copied all information to be saved from that application.

Changing an application's NOFA:

1. (Optional) Copy any material you wish to save from this application (which will be deleted when its NOFA is changed) to another application.

   1. Click onto any eGrant page containing data you wish to save.

   2. Left click the mouse on your browser (such as Edge or Mozilla Firefox), and select and highlight the information or data you wish to copy.

   3. Right click the mouse to display the dropdown menu.

   4. Click Copy. The material is copied to your computer's temporary memory (called a clipboard).

   5. Open a word processing program , such as Microsoft Word.

   6. Click Edit in the menu bar of your word processing program. A dropdown menu displays.

   7. Click Paste. The content contained in the eGrants page you copied is pasted into the word processing program.

   8. Click File in the menu bar of your word processing program. A dropdown menu displays.

   9. Click Save. A save dialog box opens.

   10. (Optional) Use the controls in the save dialog box to change the file location or settings.

   11. Click OK. The save dialog box closes and the page is saved.

   12. Repeat as required to save all pages of your application's content.

   You can cut and paste from these saved documents back into eGrants when creating a new application.

    

2. Open the Applicant Info page.

3. Click change to another NOFA, located in the NOFA Information menu.  A message appears that reads Selecting another NOFA will delete this application. Continue?

4. Click OK. The application is deleted, and the Select a NOFA page appears.
