Applicant Information Field

An Authorized Representative is the person in your organization authorized to accept and commit funds on behalf of the organization. A copy of the governing body’s authorization for this official representative to sign must be on file in the applicant’s office. The Authorized Representative must electronically sign off on the grant application by selecting the “Agreed On” button on the Authorize screen. The Authorized Representative may have either Grantee or Grantee Administrator access in eGrants.  

Authorizing the application:

1. The authorized representative needs to log into eGrants under your own account and access the application.

2. On the Authorize and Submit section, read the statement in the Authorization section, then click on the "Agreed on <date>" button directly below. The current date will appear in the date field and your name will appear as the signatory.

Assurances

Certification

2. On the Authorize and Submit section, read and/or print the statement in the Certification that pops up section then click on the "Agreed on <date>" button directly below. The current date will appear in the date field and your name will appear as the signatory.
